By using Spilled, you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable, not to trick anyone. If something is unclear, email us.

Who can use Spilled

Spilled is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 18 and able to agree to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with Apple on iPhone or with Google on Android. You are responsible for keeping that sign-in account secure. If you lose access to it, we cannot recover your Spilled account on your behalf.

Your content

Everything you log in Spilled is yours. We do not own it, claim rights to it, or have any access to it. Your journal entries never leave your phone, so we could not see them even if we wanted to.

Acceptable use

Spilled is a private journal. You are free to log anything you want for your own use. Please do not use Spilled to harass, threaten, or harm anyone. The shareable score card is intentionally stripped of names and identifying information so it cannot be used to publicly attack a specific person.

Pro purchases

Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple on iPhone and by Google Play on Android. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings on iPhone, or in your Google Play subscriptions on Android.

No medical or professional advice

Spilled is a journaling and pattern recognition tool. It is not therapy, not professional counseling, and not a substitute for help from a licensed professional. If you are in a relationship that feels unsafe, please reach out to someone qualified to help.

Service availability

We try to keep Spilled available, but we make no guarantees of uptime. The journal works fully offline, so most features remain available even if our servers are down.

Limitation of liability

Spilled is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we will note it on this page with an updated date.
